Christof Schäfer
Christof Schäfer was born 25th January 1981 in Basel, Switzerland. After a turbulent school career and extensive travels to India, Nepal and New Zealand he discovered his love for film. He enroled at SAE Zurich and read a course in digital filmmaking, where he made his first attemps with cinematography. His first documentary feature was completed in 2008: No Way To Heaven.
Today Christof studies in Basel and films all over the globe.
Janos Tedeschi
In 1983 the love affair between a young Swiss and an even younger Sardinian cummulates in the conception of their son Janos Tedeschi. After thoroughly rocky high school days, and multiple transfers to yet another school in Switzerland or abroad, Janos finally indulges in his fascination for music, film and gemstones and studies in Amsterdam, Bangkok and Basel.
In 2006 Janos joins Christof Schäfer to Thailand and India where, over the course of 2 years, they realise their first full-length documentary for the cinema: No Way To Heaven.
